I earned my J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in 1992, where I was associate editor of the Lewis & Clark Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. I practiced law with large and small firms before opening my own practice in 2013. I have served in numerous leadership roles in the Oregon legal community and currently sit on the OSB Legal Ethics Committee, the Washington County Bench-Bar Committee, and the Newsletter Board for the Elder Law Section of the Oregon State Bar. I frequently speak and write on estate and elder law issues and have been an active supporter of high school mock trial in Oregon, serving as a coach and judge since 2009. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, travel and spending time with my husband and three young adult children.

What was needed was complicated but Barbara worked through it with ease and understanding. We are completely satisfied with her work and are now working with her again in another matter""
